Hi, I’m Lexie.
In a tale as old as time, Lexie graduated high school early and spent those bonus months being on a reality TV show, then picking up and moving from the suburbs of Chicago to Los Angeles. In LA & NYC, her career began as a high fashion model. Eager to use her brain, she started working in event marketing as a trade show model & product specialist. Not too much time had passed before she started managing entire experiential campaigns (and went to school full-time while doing it)
In college, she volunteered at a crisis hotline. After graduation she worked in crisis counseling full-time. Once she had her daughter she wanted to preserve her emotional availability, so she pivoted back to marketing and dove into social media management.
Little did she know, internet trolls and the whims of algorithms are often more of an emotional challenge than crisis counseling…
After learning the ins and outs of digital marketing, she left agency life to begin freelancing. Her business grew entirely based on word-of-mouth client referrals (she’s got a knack for getting the best clients in the biz!). Now she’s the brains behind Disco Social, and has built a sweet spot marketing shop somewhere between freelancer and agency.
Some fun facts about Lexie:

She has approximately 175 houseplants and counting
She’s a mental health advocate, and specifically works to support the research, legalization & implementation of psychedelic therapies
She’s got two dogs (Alfredo & Corky) and two cats (Mom & Gertie)
